The beginnings of our business goes back to my teenage youth when my father helped me to make Christmas gifts for our family in his wood shop while I was in college. From the lack of funds and desire to give my craft began. When my father died a sudden death in 1980 my spark grew to a flame in memory of him. Every room I walked into was about the woodwork and how it was made. From the beginnings in the basement of our Solomons home to the 2800 sq ft facility on the farmland overlooking the Patuxent river Calvert Woodworks has been serving the southern Maryland community for over 22 years. We are a family run business that has superstore prices with small business service. Located on Route 508 in Prince Frederick our mission is:
